Poisons mean your weapon enchantments are cancelled ! ergo i see no point enchanting my blade for 1200 frost damage and then wiping that out for 400 poison damage !. But as far as making potions is concerned ? WHY ? Food so far seems to be far more beneficial !. in around 140 hours of play ! You need 3 for one of the first writs !. In a popular zone at prime time, with lots of other players around who could harvest plants before I see them. That's 7 Wormwood plants found within 45 minutes while actually looking for treasure chests. Now, if you need 140 hours to find something that someone else can find in a few minutes, doesn't that indicate that your approach _might_ be flawed, rather than the plant being "almost impossible to find"?ĮDIT: Also, I wonder what that might be? Either way - if your current approach leads to ridiculous misconceptions like "Wormwood is impossible to find", "Using poison makes no sense", or "Guilds won't help you below champion levels", then it is _clearly_ not working well, and changing it looks like a good idea. And whichever resources you are _currently_ using, seem to be either unreliable, or you keep misunderstanding them due to your lack of knowledge about the game. The chat of a beginner-friendly guild is the best place to learn how the game _actually_ works. That in itself is not uncommon - the game has lots of systems, and many of them aren't explained very well.īut that's exactly where guilds come in. Practically every second post that you wrote here in the past few weeks demonstrates that you keep misunderstanding core mechanics of the game. You clearly have a _lot_ of misconceptions about the game. You can use the filters in the guild finder to search specifically for the ones you want. :-/ There are many different types of guilds - some are very ambitious and demand a lot from their players, other are very relaxed and are happy to help newcomers into the game. your "understanding" of guilds is apparently as lacking as your understanding of alchemy ingredients. As i understand guilds this is not going to happen with any player less than champion level !Oh my. Wont say have fun now, but its not that slow as lvlng jewelry or enchanting - so, good luck and happy collecting Poisons on you stamina weapons are usually only in pvp, so nevermind that for pve.

Install Harvest Map addon = that will mark what you find and you can see it on map & compass (id set the addon, so it only shows on compass, could lag when opening map if you have many markers ) reward for dailys is ok, and later youll get masterwrits, that are much easier to complete as blacksmithing or clothing for example. The dailys give you some xp (inspiration) but youll lvl faster with mentioned mechanics. Increase the solvent lvl you can use when you have the points, soon as possible. Use only 2 ingredience while lvlng and the highest possible solvent you can use.
Now, start with discovering the traits of the ingredience (take one plant, and add another till the window says "unknown potion/poison). thats why you better make poisons (up to 16) to lvl, and sell those to the npc merchand = get gold back. You can add points to make severall items each attempt. and later, with a trading guild you make good gold ^^
When you walk (not ride^^) to quest locations or searching for skyshards and lorebooks, you can collect many plants. and it is very usefull too, because you can make your own (better) potions/poisons.Īdd at least one skill point to keen eye passive, then you see the plants better in the world.
